Since its founding in Okayama, Japan in 1922, Kaaz Corporation has built a reputation for engineering excellence that is recognised across the globe. What began as a manufacturer of small motors for agricultural use has evolved over a century into one of the most respected names in professional garden machinery, supplying both finished products and precision-engineered components — gearboxes, drives, and transmissions — to many of the world’s largest outdoor power equipment brands.

Kaaz began producing lawnmowers in 1964 and entered the export market in 1971. Today, the company’s products are used on sports fields, private estates, and professional contracts all around the world. In the UK, Kaaz mowers are particularly well regarded among Premier League football clubs, county cricket grounds, and local authority contractors who demand professional-grade performance from a walk-behind machine.

Every Kaaz mower is designed and manufactured entirely at the Okayama facility, maintaining complete quality control from raw material through to finished product — an approach increasingly rare in an industry where manufacturing is frequently outsourced. The entire professional range is powered by Honda engines, paired with Honda’s Blade Brake Clutch system, which allows the engine to run whilst the cutting blade is safely disengaged — a feature invaluable for professional operators moving between areas or emptying grass bags.

Kaaz mowers are available in 19-inch and 21-inch wheeled and rear-roller configurations. The rear-roller models produce the clean, formal striped finish associated with the finest British lawns and sports surfaces. Cast aluminium decks offer outstanding durability without the weight and corrosion risk of steel, making these machines a long-term investment for any serious user.
